We were delighted to be able to celebrate the Scheme Opening at Bakers Field, Brent Knoll in October 2021. Parish Councillors and our Local Authority Partners were invited to view the new homes and jointly celebrate the finished outcome of a lot of hard work by all involved. The scheme is the product of an excellent collaboration between us, Sedgemoor District Council Housing Development Team, Brent Knoll Parish Council, EG Carter and CGP Architects.
The scheme attracted funding from both Homes England and Sedgemoor District Council.
EG Carter worked hard to build these new homes to a high standard that will benefit the future occupiers, and the site received a Certificate of Compliance from the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
Work commenced on site in March 2020 after extensive mitigation work to rehome a local watervole population as well as overcoming the delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
