Amanda Nicholls - Board Member

Amanda embarked on her social housing career 34 years ago with Birmingham City Council, where she held various senior management positions, she later transitioned into the Registered Provider sector. Over the past 22 years, Amanda has progressed to executive level.

Amanda’s experience covers numerous aspects of housing, including frontline community housing, housing need (homelessness, temporary accommodation, allocations, etc.), housing strategy, and policy. Additionally, Amanda has held several governance positions, such as school governance, trustee on a mental health CIC, and chair of a women's charity.

Amanda is deeply passionate about delivering outstanding services that empower people to live their best lives.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys cooking, walking, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren, who live in Denmark.
