Willow Tree Housing Partnership donated £350 to enable a green friendly project to be developed to benefit the residents of Boxhill Close, Honicknowle by the Four Greens Community Trust's Honicknowle Community Builder.
The Trust was formed in 2014 to help regenerate the communities of Whiteligh, Honicknowle, Ernesettle and Manadon. It is a designated wellbeing and family hub and provides community activities, advice and guidance and a range of befriending and cost of living support services. Their vision is to eradicate poverty, social isolation and health inequalities within our communities and our strapline is " Helping People, Changing Lives"
As part of their community development work they employ 11 Community Builders ( funded by NHS Devon in partnership with Plymouth City Council) based across the City whose role is to embed themselves in the local community. They will listen to people and use existing strengths. organisations, and passions as a starting point for great connection, activity and collective support.
