We have a wonderful example of problem solving by our Housing Officers, Emma Benney & Debbie Johnson, who personally removed a large number of plastic drinks bottles from one of our tenants homes who would otherwise have struggled.
The bottles have been delivered to the ‘Garage Café on Union Street Plymouth who will clean them, fill them with orange squash and give them to the homeless. This is what you call a win win!
There are many ways that we can all reduce the amount of single use plastic we use on a daily basis, for example by doing something small such as using bars of soap instead of liquid soap in plastic bottles.
