Shepton Beauchamp

Work is progressing well on our eight affordable homes at Shepton Beauchamp, which includes 6 x rented homes and 2 x shared ownership.  This is another collaboration with Otter Construct Limited, who have built homes for Willow Tree in Stoke St Gregory, North Petherton, Creech St Michael and Ilton over the last few years.  The properties are being built to a very high standard, incorporating solar PV and batteries, EV chargers and Air Source Heat Pumps, as well as incorporating wildlife elements to encourage biodiversity.  Proposed to be EPC A, the homes are designed to be affordable to run as well as affordable to rent or buy. 

 Four of the homes are watertight and being boarded, these will be advertised for rent on Homefinder Somerset later this year and are due to be handed over to WTHP in November 26.  The remaining four have blockwork being laid and are anticipated to be handed over in March 2027.
